Posting rules

Every ad must

• Be real: something you actually have, offer or are looking for.
• Be in the right category and city, and posted once. Renew it instead of posting it again.
• Follow the law where you and the buyer are.

Not allowed

• Weapons, ammunition, drugs, alcohol or tobacco sales, prescription medicine.
• Anything stolen or counterfeit, and fake documents of any kind.
• Adult content, dating or escort ads.
• Offers to arrange visas, immigration papers or travel to another country for a fee. Only licensed attorneys and accredited representatives may give immigration legal help.
• Money transfers, loans, investments, “sou-sou” or lottery schemes, and get-rich-quick offers.
• Hateful or threatening language, or personal information about someone else.
• Job ads that discriminate, or that ask workers to pay to get the job.
• Web links: people reply to you through the site.

What happens to ads that break the rules

A site admin can take an ad down at any time. An ad reported by several people is hidden until it is reviewed. Accounts that keep breaking the rules are closed.
